MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon’s music scene is getting a boost with Hotel Forty Five’s “Live at Forty Five,” a new music series showcasing local talent. Starting this month, the series promises to feature weekends with live performances featuring a range of music genres from soul to rock-n-roll.

Performers are scheduled to take the stage on the first Friday and third Thursday monthly at the hotel’s Loom and on the second and fourth Saturdays at the Hightales Rooftop Bar.

“Live at Forty Five” aims to shine a spotlight on the city’s local music scene, giving up-and-coming artists a platform to perform.
