UPDATE: Arrest made in connection with August robbery of Macon T-Mobile store

A 26-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the robbery of a T-Mobile store in August.

UPDATE (11/19): A 26-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the robbery of a T-Mobile store in August.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, sent Sunday, said 26-year-old Mister Deon Stillwell was booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on Friday.

He was taken into custody by Clayton County Police during a traffic stop before being transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement.

He’s charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He was denid bond.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is  investigating a commercial robbery that happened just after 10 a.m. Monday at the T-Mobile store at 4641 Presidential Parkway.

Deputies say they arrived at the store within minutes of receiving the report. According to the sheriff’s office, two masked individuals, armed with firearms, entered the store. One of the suspects then directed the people in the store to go to a secured area while the other individual seized multiple boxes of merchandise. Following the robbery, the suspects made their escape in a silver four-door sedan.

No injuries were reported.
