UPDATE: Two men including former Crawford Commission Chairman shot

MUSELLA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that involved a former County Commission Chairman.

According to a news release, deputies found former Crawford County Commission Chairman Harold D. Spillers and Jonathan R. Langford in the 1400 block of Highway 341 South with gunshot wounds.

Spillers was shot in the lower stomach and Langford was shot in the hand. The wounds came from one single gunshot from a .45 caliber handgun.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Langford was released. Spillers remains in the the hospital, his condition is unknown.

This incident is still under investigation.
