This will affect school commutes to Jeffersonville Elementary, Twiggs County Middle School and Twiggs County High School, according to a Twiggs County Public Schools Facebook post.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Road repaving will cause traffic delays on Bullard Road starting Tuesday, October 31 through Wednesday, November 1.

This will affect school commutes to Jeffersonville Elementary, Twiggs County Middle School and Twiggs County High School, according to a Twiggs County Public Schools Facebook post.

In the post, the district warned residents to “plan for delays.” The repaving will stretch from US Hwy 80 to Wagon Wheel Road.

“If you’re connected to our schools, please use GA Highway 96 and Watson Drive for drop-offs and pick-ups on these dates,” the post stated.

The district says Jeffersonville Elementary School’s after-school program and activities will continue as planned.
