TECH BYTE: Chevrolet electric vehicles

(41NBC/WMGT) — We’re seeing a lot more electric vehicles out on the road these days, but not all drivers are sold on the idea. So what’s preventing them from buying an electric car? It’s usually upfront costs, charging logistics, and things of that nature.

To ease concerns, Chevrolet recently gave Los Angeles residents a chance to see what owning and driving an electric vehicle is all about! People got to hear from EV experts, who answered questions about owning this high tech, environmentally friendly vehicle. They also let people test drive their lower cost electric cars – the Chevy Bolt EV, and the Bolt EUV. The Bolt EV starts out at $26,595, and has an estimated range of 259 miles per charge. Chevy says these are great, affordable options for any lifestyle.
