PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County District Attorney’s Office will host its 2nd annual Toys for Tots Ride on Saturday, November 18, starting at the Houston County Courthouse and ending at Walmart on Booth Road in Warner Robins.

The charity motorcycle ride, starting at 11 a.m. following a 10 a.m. registration, is open to all who wish to support the local community’s children during the holiday season, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

Participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a $20 donation per person to benefit of the Toys for Tots program.

The ride will be escorted for safety and will end at the Booth Road Walmart in Warner Robins, where the collected toys will be presented. Santa Claus will lead the procession and will be available for photos before the ride begins.

District Attorney William Kendall’s Office, which is sponsoring the event, is hoping for a record-breaking donation year.

“Please feel free to join us as we make a record-breaking donation this year,” Kendall said in an email.
