Fiona King is a reporter for 41NBC News.
Fiona landed her first news job behind the scenes as a production assistant in Tucson, AZ. She dabbled in Radio and Podcasting before eventually trading in her sunglasses for snow boots, as she took a job as a News Producer in Billings, MT for a statewide morning show. There she learned the ins and outs of News Producing.
In this position, she covered severe weather coverage including flooding, wildfires, and tornadoes, as well as multiple presidential visits & numerous breaking news stories. After that, she was able to make the jump to Phoenix, AZ as a morning News Producer for FOX 10 KSAZ-TV.
Fiona is now taking her newsroom experience straight to the community. She is looking to tell stories directly from people in the community.
Fiona grew up in Highspire, PA a small city outside of Harrisburg, PA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in 2013.
“When I was growing up, my father always told me to watch the news for at least 30 minutes a day. When I asked why, he said so that I know what’s happening in the world. It was not until years later that I fully understood what a great gift I was given. My goal is to spread knowledge, information, and entertainment to individuals around the community.”
